Aus einem 20 köpfigen Agentur-Team ist nun eine Frau-, Divers-, Mann-Schaft geworden, aus Freiberuflern:innen, die sich dafür einsetzen, dass Künstler:innen auch wirtschaftlich die Anerkennung bekommen, die sie brauchen. Der Kunst-Konsument:innen widerum hat dabei eine zuverlässige Quelle für einen guten Geschmack.
Kunst entsteht nicht nur im Kopf des Betrachters, vielmehr glaube ich das es im Kopf des Künstlers seine Form und Gestaltung und zwar im Zusammenhang seiner subjektiven, politischen, philosophischen Gedanken und durch sein künstlerisches Geschick und Können, seiner Kreativität, Ideen und Phantasien in einer Gestaltungen umsetzt. Der, die, das, es Künstler:inn ist Kunst.
When encountering art and sometimes me, the viewer receives various emotions, controlled by the brain, if there is one, and these emotions can be triggered by thunder and lightning as well as by a bad picture, good art or other considerations of any kind. Emotions alone are not enough, but they still decide what is essential: taste, good taste, which I present to you here.
I am often asked whether there even needs to be special places for LGBTQ+ people and their art these days:
„Leider drehen sich die Uhren in diesem Bereich rückwärts. Immer mehr Übergriffe auf Randgruppen, selbst in unserer Stadt und hier im Kiez und zuletzt Diskriminierungen von Homosexuellen in Russland und anderen Ländern sind leider nur die Spitze des Eisbergs. Mehr denn je müssen wir Stellung beziehen und Farbe bekennen. Daher möchte die Galerie Newman ein Ort und eine Schutzzone speziell für die LGBTQ+ Community und ihre Kunst sein.“

We have lawyers and tax advisors to assist with the sale, dissolution of a collection, inheritance law or the establishment of a collection/foundation.
Every step is transparent and coordinated with you. Any effort and external costs incurred can be compensated for through sales. There are no costs that have not been discussed in advance. Tasks and agreements recorded in writing provide clarity and security for all parties.
