Bartek Jarmoliński, born in 75, artist, curator, educator. A graduate of Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź and the Faculty of The University in Kielce. He deals with painting, collage art and photography. In his works, he argues with the cultural significance of the image of a man and with the idealization visible in ancient art. His paintings and collages are often symbolic and surreal in nature. In the topic of masculinity, he examines the differences and similarities in the presentation of masculinity, compares what was with what is. Moreover, his works contain many references to the past and sometime there are direct references to works of old art. His works are in the collections of galleries and museums in Poland. He organized more than 50 individual exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in Poland and abroad ( Germany, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Scootland, Italy). Lives and works in Łódź.
